Great design seems such a fundamental part of London and British culture that I rarely come home without thinking what an amazing place it would be to have a design studio. Maybe someday!
Anyway, BBC.co.uk are having a Top 10 design icons vote on theie Culture web site where you can vote on everything from catseyes to minis to Laura Croft! The Spitfire, World Wide Web and London Tude map get my vote anyday.

Also listed are icons from the original shortlist of 25 which didn’t make it.
