I’m starting a new Personal category. “This Is Not a Personal Blog But….” will be useless trivia about my life as I endeavour to make it sound interesting and pretend I don’t actually spend 99% of my time sitting on front of my PC. Kinda like that saying - On the Internet, noone knows your’re a dog. I still find that funny. You see! That’s exactly why I need to get out more often.
Anywho. T.I.N.A.P.B.B part 1.
At the weekend I’m heading over to Cumbria. It’s an incredible part of the world and the village where I stay is called Kirkby Stephen. Walks up to the Nine Standards through Slap Gap have brought me encounters with Pheasants, Red Squirrells, Deer, Sheep (lots of them). tiny trout (when you can see them and it’s the right time of year) and Parrots (I kid you not!).
The area is called The Eden Valley and one of favourite sights apart from the Parrots and the F15s screaming overhead is Pendragon Castle. Apparently it’s King Arthur’s father’s castle. Or was.
